Franz liszt
- Franz Liszt was born on October 22, 1811 in Raiding, Hungary.
- He died on July 31 1886 in the city of Bayreuth, Germany.
- Like Liszt his father also played all sorts of instruments like the cello as well as other instruments. It was actually his father Adam who taught Liszt how to play the piano.
- When liszt was just 6 years old he was recognized as a child prodigy and by the age of 9, he was appearing in concerts.
- He played in front of some of the most important people, such as several kings and other musicians.
- Liszt traveled with his father to Paris to seek admission into the Paris Conservatory. Unfortunately he wasn't accepted in because he was foreigner.
- When he was just 15 years old Liszt lost his father, but that wasn't the only thing he lost, he also lost intrest music. He started to question whether he wanted to pursue just being a pianist.
- Some of the compositions he composed are La campanella, Sonata in B minor, and Consolations.
- Later on in the years he married Marie d'Agoult and had three children, but after a while their marriage ended.
- As life continued two of his childern died. One was his son Daniel who passed away in December of 1859, and his daughter Blandine, died in 1862.
